Don't Be THIS Guy...

Backward8 Protocol for
Clearing Out Your Feelings Of Jealousy, Resentment,
or Any Grudges You May Have Against Someone

Here you will use the Backward8 procedure for clearing out any feelings of
jealousy, resentment, or any grudges you may have toward someone else!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DO THIS FIRST:
Make a list of everything that causes you to feel jealousy, resentment
or grudges against someone.

Don't be afraid to add something to the list if it feels stressful to you.

Please try to be as specific as possible. And just remember....
THERE ARE NO WRONG ANSWERS!!!

Start each statement in your list with the letter I

I've given you several good examples so you will know exactly what you need to do. You are welcome to use these stressful examples in your list, and add more of your own. These examples are offered to help REMIND you of many different types of common stressful issues.
You SHOULD STILL work through all of these examples even if they do not directly apply to your own situation.

Also, wherever you see a blank spot in a phrase, such as __________, please fill in the blank your own appropriate response
if possible (and if it is applicable).

What thoughts are going through my head that make me feel jealous,
or resentful of someone, or that I hold a personal grudge against somebody?

I often feel stressed out when ______ comes near me,

I feel like my ______ doesn't even appreciate what I do,

I worry about losing my temper whenever ______ comes around,

I often feel anxious about _______ being here,

I often feel like I can never look as good as _______,

I feel resentful against ______, because she's so attractive/young/small/ _____,

I often feel anxious about my entire _______,

I feel so much rage whenever I see _______,

I really hate _______ for being so _______,

I worry about losing my cool when I'm around _______,

I feel so intimidated by _______,

I feel like the whole world is against me for _______,

I often feel like I just don't measure up to _______,

I often feel like I'm not good enough for ________,

I keep doubting my ability to ________,

I feel like I can't keep up with _______ no matter how hard I try,

I just cannot seem to get over this grudge against _______,

I often feel so envious of _______ because she is so _______,

I feel that _______ is so much _______ than I am at _______,

I don't feel very confident in myself and my abilities when it comes to ______,

I don't know if I am good enough to _______ any more,

I just don't know if I can _______ when it need to,

I don't think I am _______ enough, compared to _______,

I feel like such a big loser whenever _______ is here,

I often feel like I am having a good _______ until ______ shows up and ruins it,

I don't feel like I deserve to be successful at _______,

I feel like I am not worthy of having good things like ______ in my life,

I still feel some of this remaining jealousy over _______, because ______,

Please add more of your own stressful examples of jealousy or personal grudges to this list.

Note:

After clearing the anxiety from a negative issue, replace it with an empowering choice statement (a Backward8 Power-Phrase).

Making a clear decision is powerful, which is why this step introduces a positive affirmation right after clearing the negative issue.

This process will help you form a habit of automatically linking a positive thought to any negative situation, so that when something negative happens, a positive thought will instantly replace it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DO THIS SECOND:
Create Your Backward8 Power-Phrases...

Write "Even though" in front of each of your statements, and
add 87654321 after your statements
.

Then, add the following words to the end of your statement:
"I CHOOSE to love and accept myself completely – just as I am!"

For example:

If your statement was...
"
I feel so jealous of _______ because she is _______."

Your new statement would then become:

"Even though I feel so jealous of _______ because she is _______,
87654321
I CHOOSE to love and accept myself completely – just as I am!"

Do that for every issue statement in your list from above.

You are welcome to modify the positive choice Power-Phrases so they are more applicable
to your own specific needs. Just make sure every statement is positive, personal, and in the present tense
(as though it is already happening now).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DO THIS THIRD:

Perform Your Backward8 Procedure

Remember, this works the same way as anything else, the more counting repetitions you do,
the better your results will be! So...KEEP COUNTING!

Procedure
Select a statement from your list above, and mentally visualize (imagine) yourself
feeling the stressful intensity that you WOULD feel if you were actually experiencing
that right now, then repeat each of your complete statements as you have written
them out (including counting backward from 8)!
Keep repeating this process for each issue until you no longer feel any intensity from the issue!

You will gain positive results for some issues much faster than you will for other issues.
So, be patient, and your results will come for you.
Backward
8 is a process, NOT an event!
                    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE...
It is very common for other thoughts or emotions to pop into your mind while you are counting.
While you're doing the exercises, you will likely discover all kinds of new, unrealized thoughts
and emotions that may have been buried deep within your subconscious mind for years...
possibly even since your early childhood.

If, at anytime, while you're working through any of the exercises in this
Backward
8 course,
you notice any other negative thoughts or stressful emotions popping up, even if they do not directly
apply to the particular exercise you're working on at the moment, then
you should write them down,
and take some extra time to clear all of those negative issues, as soon as possible! It's THOSE
negative thoughts and emotions that will get in your way as you go forward in your life!
